They qualified by finishing second in the Super Sixes group by beating Ireland in the final match and although they will be rank outsiders they are a rapidly developing cricketing nation.
If there is one player to watch in the tournament it could be their all-rounder Rashid Khan. They are currently ranked 10th in the world but this is what the tournament should be about – the opportunity for developing nations to play at the highest level.
At the 2015 tournament they made their own piece of history when they won their first ever World Cup match – beating Scotland by one wicket. They are unlikely to pull up trees this time around but it will give them a world stage to showcase their abilities.
